Our 2 hour summer SUP Eco-tours are led by ACA Certified Instructors, or a naturalist, educating the group about the flora, fauna and history of our local environment. These tours are a great option for first time paddlers or for those who have taken a lesson and want to keep paddling. We begin with a quick refresher on SUP gear, safety, strokes, and launching and exiting the water, and a trip itinerary. With our naturalist and one Black Dog Paddle Instructor leading the way, you’ll experience amazing views on Swift Creek Lake in Pocahontas State Park. Revel in the natural beauty of the lily pads, sycamore trees, and beaver mounds. As the sun sets, Blue Heron, Bald Eagles, turtles, beavers, deer, and osprey are just some of the spectacular sights you’ll enjoy on your SUP Eco-Tour.
